The Food Brigade is pleased to announce that last night, we were chosen as the charity to receive the 2023 "Women United in Philanthropy" grant from the Women's Foundation of New Jersey! This $40,000 grant will fund our purchase of a commercial transport van for use in our delivery of food, diapers, and feminine products to our clients who lack the ability to pick up from us in-person. With an initial field of more than a dozen applicants, The Food Brigade was honored and humbled to have been in the company of the other two finalists, which included esteemed Bergen County charities that have been in existence for 47 and 50 years respectively.
